Task cards are built for keyboard-first editing. Hit Enter to add a new content block, Shift+Enter for a line break and Cmd+Up or Down to jump between blocks. Escape closes the card when you are done – so capturing an idea never breaks your flow.

   Kanbanq on mobile

   • Kanbanq now works on your phone. The holding screen is gone, replaced by a mobile app built for touch: the board becomes a single vertical scroll, tasks and cycle history open full screen, and everything from filters to workspace settings is designed for a small screen
   • Reorder mode: tap the toggle in the tab bar to reveal drag handles, then move cards within a section or across to another. Scrolling stays untouched the rest of the time
   • New projects now open with a random background picked from a much larger set of curated images, one collection for the light theme and one for the dark, so two projects created back to back no longer look identical
   • The roadmap has been reshuffled. Comments and file attachments on tasks are next up, and mobile web has come off the list now that it has shipped
   • Fixed new projects inheriting the background and colour of the previously created project when it was made under a different theme

   Cycle completion, project archiving, workspace permissions, summary emails and browser compatibility fixes

   • Cycle summary email: when a cycle is completed, all collaborators receive a summary with stats, completion percentage, per-assignee contributions and (on Pro) an AI written summary by category
   • Cycles now show elapsed days instead of remaining days. A counter that goes up from day one, keeping things simple regardless of how long a cycle runs
   • The cycle panel now shows a completed tasks count: a live count of cards in the Done column
   • Active cycles can now be renamed directly from the work cycle panel, replacing the static "Unnamed cycle" heading
   • Completed cycles left unnamed now get an AI-generated title automatically, alongside their AI summary
   • Project Settings now includes an archive project action. Archived projects are soft deleted, hidden from workspace navigation and blocked from reopening directly
